JOSH Goodall and Chris Eaton have been selected to join Andy Murray and Ross Hutchins in the Great Britain Davis Cup team to take on Ukraine next weekend.
The pair were picked after impressing GB captain John Lloyd and coach Paul Annacone in the play-offs at the National Tennis Centre in London.
They both won their opening two matches and had been scheduled to square off but Lloyd and Annacone can
celled the final play-off matches with the pair earning the right to represent Great Britain for the Europe/Africa Zone Group I clash at Braehead Arena in Renfrewshire from 6-8 March.
"I spoke to the boys last night to give them the news," said Lloyd.
"Paul and I thought that it would be best if the players rested today as Josh and Chris had already proved themselves over their two matches. Both players produced their best tennis in five sets, which will give them confidence in their own ability next week."
Colin Fleming and James Ward, who both won one match each in the play-offs, will join the squad to provide support.
Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic reached his first final of the season when he beat third- seeded Frenchman Gilles Simon 3-6, 7-5, 7-5 at the Dubai Championships yesterday.
Djokovic repeated his semi-final victory over Simon at the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai last November, where he went on to claim the title.
The top-seeded Serb now faces either fourth-seeded Spaniard David Ferrer or unseeded Frenchman Richard Gasquet.
