EDINBURGH Monarchs speedway duo Ryan Fisher and Andrew Tully were eliminated at the qualifying stage in last night's Premier League Best Pairs Championship at Somerset's Oak Tree Arena.
Fisher scored eight points, which included two wins, but the Californian said: "I wasn't happy with my engines, they were not fast enough."

Tully collected nine points but their efforts failed to take them through to the semi finals as they finished third behind Birmingham and Workington in Group 2.

Birmingham's Jason Lyons and Thomas Piszcz lifted the crown.
