I haven't seen Fortune play at all...Peter Grant has said that Fortune is a player that Celtic would be interested in and from that we can take it that Fortune is on a list of targets.
Nancy made, methinks, a tactical announcement on Friday which sounded like a signal to Celtic that if they were still interested, they'd better move fast...yet here we are on Monday (Nancy said hey expected hull to finalise over the course of the weekend) and Fortune remains a Nancy player.

This is the sort of bluff and bluster that goes on in the transfer market. Lawell didn't reduce Celtic's debt to zero by diving in every time a club chairman pressed the alarm button.

Celtic will maintain their discernment and discretion during the transfer window. Lawell & co will keep their cards close to their chest and make their move when the time is right and ensure the best possible deal for Celtic.

What we won't be doing is waving our cheque book in the air, borrowing tens of millions of pounds or diving in where wise men fear to tread...that's what minty does , that is.

Enjoy your summer and don't be too disappointed either when Rangers don't go into administration, or when Mr Punch doesn't get Naylor, McManus, O'Dea, Loovens, Hartley and Co playing like Barcelona straight away :-)
