ARSENAL striker Robin van Persie sat out the Netherlands' training in Noordwijk because of a slight foot injury.
Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk will lead his team into his first competitive game in charge next Wednesday when they face Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier. Before that, they face Australia in a friendly on Saturday.
