QUEENS striker Stephen Dobbie produced a fabulous display with four goals and virtually condemned Clyde to the Second Division.
And he showed just why Swansea were watching him as he crashed home a spectacular opener in five minutes. He gathered a pass from Stevie Tosh and from 35 yards cracked a low effort that flashed past keeper David Hutton.
Then Stewart Kean fired Queens 2-0 ahead four minutes later after robbing defender Alan Lithgow on the far side. He then cut inside before avoiding a fierce sliding tackle and crashing a ferocious, rising shot from 18 yards into the top right corner.
The Doonhamers sealed the points with Stevie Tosh's terrific third. He swapped passes with Dobbie in a fine move just outside the box before volleying high into the right of the net.
Clyde clawed a goal back with their first effort on target with a marvellous 25-yard free-kick from Willie McLaren.
But Dobbie piled on more misery for Clyde just two minutes into the second half with a stunning solo effort. He raced into the box and then rifled a low shot past Hutton and just inside the right post for number four.
Bob Harris hammered the fifth into the roof of the net after a corner by Barry Wilson squirmed to him on the left four yards out in 56 minutes and a couple of minutes later Dobbie danced into the area and drove a low shot from a few yards under the keeper for 6-1 and his hat-trick. Dobbie side-footed his fourth in 62 minutes after a fine run and cut-back on the right by Wilson.
