ABERDEEN boss Jimmy Calderwood said he could not have asked for anymore from his players – despite seeing his side suffer their fifth defeat in a row against Hibs.
He said: "We dominated possession against a side that are very dangerous going forward. We didn't take our chances and were done by a sucker punch.

"I have been in games where we have nicked it and I have been raging at the end, but I couldn't really have a go at my players after that game.

"They can all look themselves in the mirror and say: 'I gave it everything I have got'. I really don't think we deserved to lose this game."

Individual mistakes have been the undoing of the Dons this season, and Calderwood again felt his side played a major role in their own downfall. This time it was Lee Mair who made a costly error.

Calderwood said: "We gave a goal away because of an individual mistake from a player that has been doing really well for us."
