ABERDEEN are risking heavy punishment from the Scottish Football Association after criticising the standard of refereeing in their 2-0 defeat at Hibernian on Saturday.
The Dons had Maurice Ross and Chris Maguire sent off in a match that saw eight yellow cards shown, and last night an impassioned but unattributed statement on the Pittodrie club's website called on a "common sense" approach to refereeing – and also appeared to suggest that the referee was on Hibs' side.

The statement said: "Nine against eleven (perhaps make that twelve!) for the best part of half an hour means an unequal situation and one that is cheating the fans."

Aberdeen are quite right.

LIVE TV coming out of just about every orifice has now allowed the ordinary punter in the street see for themselves of the corruption that is rife in the SPL.

EVERY single person who watches Scottish Football and has accesss to a telly knows fine well which team this corruption is hell bent on benefitting.

LIVE TV allows all others to let the cheats know that we know.

What cant speak cant lie.

The evidence of a camera lens can never ever be accused of being paranoid,I`m afraid.

1 Bodhisattva, Wrong, it allows us to watch over and over again what the referee has to decide in a split second......

True, and so refs are going to make mistakes.

Yet the mistakes seem to benefit two teams (and one of those in particular) nine times out of ten.

So where does Hibs-Aberdeen fits into that? Probably the ref was just sh*te. The critical point is that in ten games between Aberdeen and Hibs, the breaks will even themselves out.

Not so when games involving the rest of us versus those other two teams are concerned.

In the 2 matches United have had vs OF sides this season decisions by referee's during those matches blows you theory out of the water.

Can I suggest to any Aberdeen fan (or any other supporter, for that matter) that the best way to vent your grievances about your team without incurring the wrath of the high heidyins at the SFA is to post them on the Scotsman Forum.
Any contentious or slightly 'Salty' comments will be removed forthwith and you will then be able to relax in the knowledge that you said your piece, but no one got to read it...

Simple really!
