ABERDEEN will kick off their 2009/10 season with a compelling home tie against Celtic at Pittodrie on August 15.
New Dons manager made no secret of the fact that he only took the job after realising that Celtic were looking elsewhere, so he will be determined to get one over on the Glasgow club, who today unveiled Tony Mowbray as their new coach.

Aberdeen, who finished fourth in the SPL last year, face champions Rangers for the first time at Ibrox on September 26.
