OLYMPIC athlete Lee McConnell lent her hand to supporting the Great Scottish Run 2009 yesterday in Glasgow's George Square by promoting the Early Bird entries scheme.
Those who enter before tomorrow can sign up at a reduced cost of £19 for the 10k run or £24.50 for the Half Marathon. To take advantage of the Early Bird offer visit www.runglasgow.org or call 0845 270 0166.

"The Great Scottish Run is a great event and continues to get bigger and better. It is now ten weeks away so I would suggest to those who are thinking about entering to do so now," said McConnell.
