THERE is a dramatic climax in store during tomorrow's final fixtures in the East section of the Cities & Counties championship for the Andrew H Hamilton Trophy with four teams in with a chance of clinching the two remaining qualifying places.
Leaders West Lothian (10 points + 72 shots) entertain third placed East Lothian (8 +95) at Kirkliston while second placed Midlothian (8 +113) visit fourth placed Edinburgh & Leith (6+63) at Sighthill.

E&L must score a significant win to stand any
chance of finishing second and that would also depend on West Lothian being successful. The E&L selectors have sidelined host club star Jason Ronaldson and made positional changes with Darren Hush moving rinks to play under Colin Mitchell at third and Alan Poole moving from third to second in the same rink.

A big vote of confidence goes to Parkside star Robert Donaldson who takes over from Hush at skip and David Poole of Pilrig who returns to fill the shoes of his younger brother at third.

Midlothian also make changes with Billy Peacock unavailable and indoor cap Steven Currie sidelined. Ryan Yuill and Lindsay will play.

Henry Aitchison is promoted from third to skip.

West Lothian will be without the services of Bryan Cooper and Gary Orr with James Speirs and Barry Sword called in by team manager Colin Stein to replace them. East Lothian bring in Grant Thomson and Brian Bird for Jamie Gordon and Gareth Lusk and make two positional changes with Ian bell switched from third to second and Stevie Thomson from lead to third.

Several variations of who can finish in the top two are possible and the only thing that is certain is that the mobile phones in all four camps will be working overtime as the action unfolds.
