SOUTH QUEENSFERRY featherweight Paul Appleby will appear on the undercard of the British welterweight title clash between champion Kevin McIntyre and challenger Kevin Anderson in Glasgow on February 29 after all.
Manager Tommy Gilmour has spoken out to clear up any confusion on the matter: "Paul will indeed fight a selected opponent as a warm-up for his British title bid against Greenock's John Simpson and tickets are on sale now as it is really important to Paul that as many eastern fans as possible are on hand to cheer him at ringside."

Information about tickets for the show can be obtained from Mr Gilmour on 0141-810 5700.
