WORLD heavyweight champion Vladimir Klitschko will fight Ruslan Chagaev in Germany on 20 June after Briton David Haye was forced to pull out injured.
"It is sad that David cannot compete," Klitschko, the IBF, IBO and WBO champion said. "However, I am looking forward to fighting Ruslan. He is WBA champion, very experienced and tough."

Haye had to drop out of the scheduled fight against Klitschko due to a back injury.

The Briton had hoped to put the fight back three weeks but organisers were eager to find a replacement and keep the same date.

Undefeated Uzbek Chagaev, the WBA champion-in-recess, had been due to fight Russian Nikolai Valuev in Finland for the WBA title on 30 May but the fight was called off.

Haye dropped out because Setanta can't pay him a dime and he'd have been fighting for free. If Klitschko had pasted him he'd have been taken a beating for nothing.

Yes David Gaye would have gotten his tatties inside a round from Klitschco. Hope Gaye gets his reqward by being forced into fighting a tope ten contender from the three main governing bodies. Hopefully when he gets beat up bad from an average fighter he will disappear off the radar!
