COMMONWEALTH Games boxing gold medal winner, Tom Imrie, is thrilled by his induction into the Scottish Hall of Boxing Fame which will take place in Glasgow next month.
Imrie, who triumphed in the Edinburgh games of 1970, now resides in Dalgety Bay but was Leith born and raised, boxing for the Granton-based Buccleuch amateur boxing club.

Imrie said: "This honour is almost as good as when I won the light-middleweight gold medal by outpointing Zambian Julius Luipa, at Murrayfield Ice Rink in 1970. I'll be delighted to travel to Glasgow next month to be inducted with my wife May and my son Tom junior."
