LEITH VICTORIA heavyweight Steve Simmons' top-of-the-bill clash at Edinburgh's Masonic club next Sunday has been cancelled due to an injury picked up while sparring with Capital super-middleweight Kenny Anderson.
Simmons was poised to fight top Irish heavyweight Niall Kennedy but went over on his ankle injury while working with Anderson.

Simmons said: "I went over on my ankle but everything seemed fine until yesterday when it flared up."
