A PETITION calling for a posthumous knighthood for Brian Clough is to be presented in Downing Street today.
Derby North MP Bob Laxton is to hand over the appeal with 6500 signatures backing an honour for the former Nottingham Forest manager, who died from stomach cancer last month at the age of 69. Laxton has admitted posthumous knighthoods are rare but said he hoped public pressure would persuade the government.
