A GAME against the leaders Falkland is not one that the bottom club would normally savour, especially, if like Prestwick, they were bowled out for only 87 in the opening league match against the same opponents back in May.
The Ayrshire club, however, are imagining what a win would do to their self-belief and confidence.
While his role as Cricket Scotland's head of performance has prevented Andy Tennant from continuing his role as a player-president, the former Scotland player believes that "hard work and commitment and a few good performances, starting against Falkland, are what is needed to get Prestwick out their current predicament."
Falkland, with seven wins out of seven, have what Prestwick lack, confidence and experience, and they should chalk up another victory.
RH Corstorphine, who have leapt into second place, welcome struggling Freuchie to Barnton, while Edinburgh can establish their top-three place by beating West Lothian at Boghall. SMRH are at home to Renfrew and Weirs host Dumfries.
