KELBURNE and Edinburgh were frustrated again last night when their crucial SNCL play-off was washed-out for the third time at Penicuik.
However, the pair look set to avoid the lottery of a bowl-out with the match finally looking likely to go ahead today – at the fourth time of asking.
Kelburne, bidding to end a six-year exile from the elite, earned their play-off place by winning the Western Union and then beating Feeder League rivals Edinburgh Accies a fortnight ago.
The sudden-death clash provides a SNCL lifeline for Edinburgh CC who finished bottom of the second division.
