GRANGE last night recovered from last week’s shock defeat by Ayr with a convincing win over champions Greenock at Glenpark. Kiwi batsman Neil McCallum top scored with 80 as the Edinburgh side reached 219-5 before reducing the title holders to 78-6. A stand of 61 by Dewald Nel and Ryan Begley raised home hopes before Andy Wilson’s 5-32 proved decisive.
Carlton went top of the table with a D/L victory over Heriot’s at Grange Loan, Peter Wooden hitting 130 from 140 balls.
Meanwhile, South African Con de Lange finished unbeaten on 98 as Ferguslie cruised past Poloc’s 204-4.
Division one pacesetters Aberdeenshire walloped West Lothian by 10 wickets for their third easy win.
