ROSS LYONS and Dewald Nel took seven wickets apiece as Scotland eased to victory over Canada by an innings and 165 runs in the ICC Intercontinental Cup.
Nel had taken four for 32 off 10 overs and Lyons three for six off nine overs as the hosts were skittled for 79 in their first innings at King City, replying to the Scots’ 374. They continued to struggle after following on, the same bowlers again wreaking havoc.

Only Sandeep Jyoti offered any resistance with a patient 43 off 132 deliveries – although this did include eight boundaries – but Canada were all out for 130.

Lyons finished with four for 36 off 15 overs and Nel three for 38 from 11 overs.
