SCOTLAND'S Intercontinental Cup hopes are under threat from rain in Namibia.
The Scots fly to Windhoek later this week for a four-day clash they must win to rekindle their hopes of success in the ICC's flagship First Class competition for non-Test playing countries.

Ryan Watson's sixth-placed side have already suffered one virtual washout when less than a day's play was possible in last summer's clash with UAE at Ayr. That has left them playing catch-up against Kenya, holders Ireland and Namibia who they are due to face from April 4-7.

However, Scotland have already been warned that the encounter – Pete Steindl's first in charge since replacing Peter Drinnen as coach – is not certain to go ahead.
