THOUGH Ryan Watson smashed an unbeaten 140 against Arbroath last Saturday, Forfarshire know they can't rely on their captain for match-winning performances every week.
Because of his Scotland commitments, Watson has missed a few games and he will be absent this afternoon when Forfarshire visit Penicuik.
"We will obviously miss Ryan but we have built up a good squad and we just have to try and maintain the momentum built up over recent weeks," claimed bowler and match secretary Graham Quinn.
Leaders Stirling County showed why they have moved into top spot by amassing 286 for three against Stenhousemuir, James Miller leading the way with a century, and they will travel with confidence for today's encounter with Stoneywood-Dyce.
Dunfermline will be anxious to make amends for their slip-up against Stenhousemuir last time out when they visit Ferguslie.
Stenhousemuir hope to have Iain Philip available again when they host Poloc, while Drumpellier head for Arbroath.
