First Division
WEST Lothian are geared up for a do-or-die game against Freuchie at Boghall this afternoon, with the losers becoming favourites for the automatic relegation spot.

"We appreciate the importance of the game," admits captain Andy Raven, "and I'm sure
we will come out on top. We've been struggling with injuries, and have had to blood a few injuries, but we should be near full strength for this fixture, with paceman Tony McKenna back from injury and our resident Kiwi Jimmy McCosker available again."

West Lothian's pro Kruger Van Wyk hit 68 in the loss to Aberdeenshire and he's going to be a key man against the Fifers. "We beat Freuchie in the first game and I'm confident we can do so again," stated Raven.

Freuchie, who again posted a respectable score, 190, against Stenhousemuir, but could not defend that total, are holding up the table with 27 points, two less that today's opponents, while Scottish Cup semi-finalists, Penicuik, are on the 42-point mark.

Penicuik, who could muster only 88 against a fired-up Forfarshire, are at home to the ever-improving Stenhousemuir, while leaders Aberdeenshire head for Drumpellier. West of Scotland and Forfarshire are in joint second place and hope to get the better of Arbroath and Stirling County respectively.
