ARBROATH manager John McGlashan is conscious that Stranraer may feel aggrieved about having to face a team that finished 13 points behind them in the league table when the Second Division play-off final first leg kicks off tonight.
"Stranraer deserve to be in the final as they have been great all season," admitted McGlashan. "They will be out to show that the league table does not lie. Their players will be out to prove a point and we will have to make sure it is not easy for them to dictate things."

McGlashan will stick with the same squad that won their semi-final at Cowdenbeath with match-winner Robbie Raeside again deputising for the banned Alan Rattray.

With 28 goals between them Gregory Tade and Michael Mullen are the men that Derek Ferguson will be hoping fire Stranraer into the Second Division. On-loan Stephen McConalogue also comes into the reckoning now that his parent club Cowdenbeath have been knocked out.

Ferguson, April's Manager of the Month, said, "Tade and Mullen have been outstanding and have contributed to our magnificent run."
