TIRELESS Kevin Tindal believes Cove Rangers will deserve to celebrate even if they end up empty-handed this season. The 37-year-old saw title fever hit the Aberdeen club after a 2-1 win away to Buckie Thistle.

Cove will win only the second crown in their history if they beat Clach and Lossiemouth in their next two games, while they also face Deveronvale in the League Cup semi-final on Wednesday.

Tindal said: "We've still got a cup semi-final to come and the league is in our hands now. Even if we end up with nothing, it's been a fantastic year."

Phil McKibben struck after nine minutes for the visitors before Jamie Watt's penalty-spot clincher two minutes after the break. David Macrae managed a late response for Buckie

Elsewhere, Keith suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at Clach with Robbie Duncanson netting a hat-trick for the on-fire Inverness side, while Deveronvale thrashed Fort William 11-0 in preparation for that semi-final.
