GOAL machine Mickael Antoine-Curier struck twice in the second half at Dens Park to dump Livingston and set up a top of the table clash between Dundee and Hamilton at New Douglas Park this weekend.
The Frenchman, on loan from Hibs, made it eight goals in just five appearances since January for the Dark Blues.

The home side had the better of the early stages and in seven minutes David O'Brien saw a deflected effort fly just wide of Colin S
tewart's goal, but that was about it for a disappointing first half.

The opening four minutes of the second half saw more action than the entire first period.

First O'Brien saw a six-yard shot well saved by Stewart, but there was nothing the keeper could do in the 48th minute when the home side took the lead. What looked a poor Craig Samson clearance reached Colin McMenamin who released Antoine-Curier and the Frenchman unleashed a fierce effort high into the back of the net.

As Livi tried to hit back just a minute later 20-year-old Murray Davidson dived when challenged by Paul Dixon in the home box. He'd already been booked for a tackle on O'Brien and his second yellow card saw red shown as well.

Furious at seeing his side reduced to ten men, Almondvale boss Mark Proctor spoke out of turn to the assistant referee and was sent packing as well.

In 61 minutes the points were secure as Dave Mackay was booked for a foul on O'Brien 22-yards out and Antoine-Curier got his second with a low drive from the free-kick.

Dundee: Samson; Cowan, Dixon, McDonald, MacKenzie, Malone, Daquin, Noubissie, McMenamin Sturm 79), Antoine-Curier (Davidson 72), O'Brien (Clark 82). Subs not used: Roy, Worrell.

Livingston: Stewart; Mackay, James, McPake, McCaffrey, Makel, Davidson, Walker (Tinkler 82), Griffiths, Fox, Snodgrass. Subs not used: Lunn, Jacobs, MacDonald, Malone.

Referee: S MacDonald.
Att: 3,715.

How you can support the Referee who booked Davidson when O'Brien stood on the ball and then pushed him in the back in the penalty to result not in a dive but a foul is beyond me. I hope you enjoyed the hospitality you were clearly if you thought that was a football match.

How Mickael Antoine-Curier avoiding getting booked till as late as he did is beyond comprehension? Let's have some balanced truthful reporting of games please.

No problem with your report. Last sentence of the first paragraph of #1 sound like he may have been overdoing the hospitality!!The grapes in his wine appear to have been a wee bit sour though.

Great performance...livvy were completely outclassed. Their strkier with the bleach blonde hair was one of the worst strikers we have seen at Dens this season.
Dundee look really dangerous when we have a full squad at our disposal, BIG match at NDP at the weekend.
Hamilton have a clear advantage at home on the plastic, havin only let in three goals. Lets hope that there is not the pitch watering antics evident the last time. COME ON DUNDEE!!!

some people getting carried away with a match report that barely covers half a page. He aint going to cover every single incident, could-have-been etc,

I dont think the Hammies were talking big about the pitch, just responding to an obvious question as we head to the end of the season. I honestly thought my old team Dundee (lived in W Lothian for years now) had no chance this season but have performed way beyond expectations. Big game on Saturday but that game on the last day at Dens - who came up with that fixture list?!! :)

posters 2 and 4. its wee arrogant idiots like you two that give dundee fans a bad name. Numpties like you two encourage the rest of us to support hamilton, and is it to do with always being in united's shadow that makes you like that?
