DUNDEE United are expected to unveil left-back Paul Dixon as their latest summer signing today.
The 21-year-old, who has been capped by Scotland at under-21 level, will become the second Dundee player to join United this summer. Midfielder Scott Robertson made the switch earlier this month and Dixon will follow after United agreed to pay compensation of around £25,000 for the player, whose contract expired this summer.

United moved for Dixon after losing Christian Kalvenes at the end of last season. Left-back Kalvenes, 31, opted to return to his native Norway after two seasons at Tannadice.

Dundee Utd should have their best season for a long time.

Hibs and Hearts will be mince, as usual.

If United can shift deVries (cos he can't shift himself) and if we keep Kerr and Flood or get good replacements then we'll have another good one!

How well United do this season has nothing to do with what players we sign - it will be determined by how well the SFA are prepared to allow us to do. And I get the feeling that won't be very well, after we dared to speak out against corruption.

I agree but fear that United and Levein will feel the full force of Scottish football's establishment (ie the Old Firm and the SFA).
