DUNDEE United are considering a third bid from Reading for the services of striker Noel Hunt.
Hunt missed last night's 3-2 friendly win at Dunfermline through injury. Manager Craig Levein said: "They have made a bid, it is under consideration."
Midfielder Scott Robertson ensured United emerged with a win at East End Park with a superb late strike.
The hosts took the lead on 57 minutes when Scott Thomson rose unmarked to head Alex Burke's corner into the net. Within 60 seconds, however, United substitute Francesco Sandaza cleverly turned Greg Shields in the six-yard box before steering the ball past Paul Gallacher. The Spaniard doubled his tally three minutes later with a precise 18-yard shot.
Dunfermline restored parity in the 67th minute through Nicky Phinn but Robertson's superb strike from the edge of the box settled the match in style.
