DUNDEE United will host Hearts on the opening day of season 2009/10.
Craig Levein's side lost out to the Edinburgh outfit for a place in the Europa league last season and the two sides will expect to vie for European honours again in the forthcoming campaign.

The Tannadice team's last match before the six-team split is at home to defending league champions Rangers on April 10.
