JOCK HAY today told success-hungry Edinburgh Capitals: "Don't let complacency creep in."
The Murrayfield men will ice their Elite League big guns against Dundee Texol Stars in the two-leg, Scottish Premier League play-off semi-final this weekend. The first-leg is in Dundee tomorrow (7.30pm) with the return at the Riversdale rink on Sun
day (6.00pm).

Mark Garside, voted Young British Player of the Year by ice hockey writers, is included alongside Slovakian sniper Martin Cingel. So is Ben O'Connor, who played for Great Britain's senior side along with Garside in France this season, and hard-working Ross Dalgleish. Iain Bowie, who top scored for Great Britain in the recent under-18 world championships, will also travel.

Hay, who assists coach Scot Neil, said: "It's a strong squad but there is sometimes a problem with players dropping down a level.

"Things don't sometimes go as expected. Stars are a strong side who play together regularly. Our old player, Jeff Marshall, is a good player and they have experienced men in former Fife skipper John Haig and our old player, Iain Robertson.

"We're expecting a close tussle but, if we play to our capabilities, we should be okay. We've not won anything this year and it would be good to get some silverware."
