HEARTS manager Csaba Laszlo has conceded the emotional pull of returning to Hibs convinced Derek Riordan to opt for Easter Road over Tynecastle when he left Celtic.
Going into today's first Edinburgh derby of the season, Laszlo is wary of the threat posed by the revitalised striker who has scored three goals in four games since rejoining his first club.

Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov is known to be a big fan
of the Scotland cap, and Laszlo admitted Hearts made a serious attempt to entice Riordan to Gorgie before the transfer window shut.

"Yes, it was a possibility he could have come here," said Laszlo. "But Derek decided to go to Hibs. He played for Hibs and I think it was also an emotional decision. He has stayed very close to Hibs. You must respect that decision and I don't have any problems with this. At the moment he is scoring a lot of goals and he is dangerous."

Hearts have been lifted by the return of Andrew Driver for this afternoon's game after seven weeks out with an Achilles injury, although the winger may not last the full 90 minutes.

"I'd be happy to get anything in the game," Driver said. "I've been out for seven weeks and you just want to get back playing. I'm not 100% but at least I'll be fresh and I'll give as much as I can for the team, for as long as I get. It's obviously a game I want to play in."

He will be lucky to last the 90 minutes, and won't dare come near the sold out end. Can't see him scoring as he won't get the ball, likely to hide be a passenager, thats if he was locked up last night.

More concerned about Fletcher who offers more and appears the more complete player although Ratboy can score the odd great goal from impossible positions / angles he is less of a concern.

Ah well, methinks a draw was fair.

Perhaps a penalty somewhere in the mix, alas not to be. Bottom line, the Yaks are still p!$h and f%cked and the Hibees go marching on.

Y-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-k!

So much for a 3 - 0 eh.

Hibs till I die.

At least they will still be Hibs when I die.
Yaks, they will not. Mibbe Yak's of Turd Lanark.

Covered in maroon sh!t and still stinking, PBS p!$h.

Glory, glory to the Hibees.

Er, no it's the spittle on yer screen - it's affecting what you see on the display.

Thought a draw was a fair result, could have gone either way.

The Yak's ARE f%cked and p!$h, the writing is on the wall numb nuts - I'd suggest you support another team, one that has a future.

Glory, glory to the Hibees.

First Last and Always.

Should that not read, Firstly, Always Last.
'I'll eat nae cabbage, pea or leak,
For greens have always made me seik'.

Playing at home with three strikers, you're bound to be happy with a draw - nobsack.
