KEVIN Neilson scored a stoppage-time header to clinch a dramatic 2-1 win.
The in-form Neilson put Annan in front after 42 minutes, heading home a swirling Mike Jack corner.
Dumbarton midfielder Ross Clark equalised from the penalty spot on the
stroke of half time after he was adjudged to have been fouled by Annan's Steven Sloan.
But the hosts snatched the three points in the 90th minute when Jack again supplied Neilson.

Cowdenbeath 4COWDENBEATH closed the gap on leaders Stenhousemuir to one point after an impressive win.
Brian Fairbairn gave the visitors the ideal start, firing home after nine minutes. Brian Graham quickly levelled for Shire with a glancing header but Kenny Adamson put Cowdenbeath back in front in the 37th minute with an outrageous 40-yard strike.
Paul McQuade hit 'Beath's third in the 73rd minute before Fairbairn added his second.

Berwick Rangers 2A DOUBLE from Darren Gribben gave Berwick a deserved win at Elgin, who are now marooned at the foot of the Third Division table.
Gribben opened the scoring after 12 minutes when he latched on to a Gary Greenhill shot to divert the ball past Elgin keeper Joe Malin.
He added his second in the 59th minute when Fraser McLaren's cut-back fell kindly for him and he hammered the ball home from close range.

Stenhousemuir 0FORFAR snatched the points with an injury time penalty kick.
The home side got off to a lively start, with Gary Thom clearing off the line to deny Graham Gibson.
Both sides hit the woodwork, Johnny Russell clipping the top of the bar with a shot, then Kevin Motion striking the post.
The second half was a non-event before Warriors' sub Andy Shirra handled in the box and Sean Kilgannon dispatched the resulting penalty.

Albion Rovers 0ALBION Rovers came from a goal down to defeat 10-man Montrose.
Early on Kevin Bradley was sent off for a retaliatory kick at Michael McGowan, but the free kick was awarded to the home side, and they took the lead from it. Stephen Black sent the ball in and it broke kindly to Callum Smith, who calmly slotted home.
Albion equalised through Marco Andreoni in the 56th minute and got the winner on the hour through a delightful Bobby Barr chip.
