Barton to learn fate for attack on Dabo

JOEY Barton will be sentenced today after pleading guilty to assaulting a former team-mate.
He punched Ousmane Dabo, a former team-mate at Manchester City, knocking him unconscious, and continued to hit him as he lay on the ground.

Barton, 25, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court yesterday.
