FORMER Hearts striker Roman Bednar believes he possesses a special talent which can see him usurp Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
West Bromwich Albion, who signed Bednar for £2.5million from Hearts in May, travel to Old Trafford on Saturday for the sternest test to date of their English Premier League campaign.
Bednar has scored three goals in seven appearances this season and is currently riding high on confidence, so much so that he believes he can be better than Ronaldo.
"I always want to be myself," said the Czech. "I think I have something special that no-one else has.
"I know Ronaldo is fast – he scores goals, has a great technique, everything – but I am still a different player and I can in some ways be better than him."
