Hughes looks ahead after triple swoop

FALKIRK manager John Hughes insists he cannot wait for next season to begin after completing a hat-trick of high-profile signings this week.
The Bairns, who complete their campaign against Kilmarnock today, have secured the services of former Old Firm pair Jackie McNamara, 34, and Neil McCann, 33, and ex-Dunfermline defender Lee Bullen, 37, to show their ambitions for next term.

"I was looking at bringing that kind of experience to the club and usually when you get that experience they're at that kind of age," said Hughes. "But you can see the enthusiasm is oozing out of these boys and they're fit, fit boys, so I'm delighted to add the three of them to the squad and I can't wait to get going with them next year."

Kilmarnock beat Hearts last week and midfielder Allan Johnston is looking for another win today. "The supporters have stuck by us and all the boys appreciate that. Hopefully we can give them something to cheer about on Saturday," he said. "We want to finish the season on a high.
