ASTON Villa finished five points behind David Moyes' Everton after this draw at Upton Park.
Nolberto Solano gave West Ham an eighth-minute lead with a free-kick but the lead lasted only six minutes as Ashley Young equalised. Gareth Barry put Martin O'Neill's side ahead on the hour but Dean Ashton levelled two minutes from time.
