Ten charged over rampage

TEN people have been charged after a violent rampage by up to 400 people following England’s Euro 2004 defeat by France.
Missiles were thrown at police and vehicles, leaving a trail of destruction in Croydon, London, after the defeat on June 13. All are charged with violent disorder.
