Tevez future still uncertain

DAILY TELEGRAPH: The English champions are also keen to draw a line under the Tevez saga one way or another, as it seems increasingly unlikely that they will be able to sign either Karin Benzema from Lyon or David Villa from Valencia.

Local rivals Manchester City are potential suitors of the Argentine striker, with Chelsea distancing themselves from a bid.

The player's agent refused to comment.

Real Madrid deny fax claim

VARIOUS: Real Madrid have denied media reports suggesting they have faxed English clubs a list of players that are available for transfer.

Van Persie for Man U. That's an interesting one.
