#1 Can I assume that although you reside in Leith, that you are actually a Jambo?

'cos if you are a hibby and you claim to "love" the scottish cup!!??

Have you got a cupboard full of whips, chains and cattle-prods that you ask "mummy" to use on you too?

Cant see the jambos beating Hibs twice in ten days ,home team will be favorites in both games because their is nothing between the teams .they are both poor.

A hard one to call in my opinion, but on a good day we are more than capable of turning Hibs over.
There will be a real buzz in the town, come January.
C'mon the Hearts!!!
19

Johnny Jambo,

01/12/2008 16:22:41
#17 you are being a bit harsh, its only 107 years, they last won it in 1902.

I think its a great draw, when the jambo's beat ,we can then get on with winning the premier, while they go on to get humped by INVERURIE LOCOS.Roll on 2009,can't wait.Sorry forgot to take my medicine today
21

Gorgie Forever,

Think this is a very tough draw for us to be honest. I would definately take a draw and a replay from this one.

PS I heard a rumour they were scrapping replays and adopting the League Cup format of extra time and pens. Anyone else heard this or confirm if its just nonsense?

scottishcoffindodgerno1,

I'm really upset that we have drawn Hibs - that will mean that we will be the villains of the piece depriving Hibs of yet another opportunity of winning the cup. Who was on the throne when they last won it - George the Third was it???

Will Hertz still be in business on Jan 10th? That's the big question!

If so, and Mixu has that wee dumpling Chisholm and Rankin playing like he did against Falkirk in his side, it's Hertz 2 - 0.

Can't wait, what a week that will be, another three derby points and another SPL team out at the first hurdle. Genuinly sad it's the hobos out early as i like to think they sometimes have a chance of winning it at last. Maybe not, awell my money is on another Scottish Cup 0-4 humbling to the Giants of Edinburgh - HHGH

Jnauary...............won't Berra be away to Ibrox by then to replace old man Weir??? Kinston and Aguiar are unsurprisingly both back playing just in time for a wee shift out of Tynie with anywhere and Celtic repectively for those mentioned.

I'm sure the Hearts will be boosted by that International midfield star from Poland who played around 3 games. He'll be drafted back from Kaunas and take a spot, along with silky OBUA if he can get off his sick bed.

#19 No it would be 108 if hearts win in Jan, this is because it would be May 2010 before Hibs could possibly win the Scottish Cup!

Two derby games eh, superb.

The Yams will have got rid of the expensive players made a few sales to try and save their existence - and then bring in some low grade loan / pseudo signings.

And then normal service will be resumed, they will be back to their shambolic selfs again and then get beat TWICE by Hibs and then disappear into a spiralling free-fall of enternal gloom.

Your doomed YAMS.

HMFC 1874 - 200?

Glory Glory to the Hibees.
