Doak and Kelly share honours in Aberdeen

CHRIS Doak and Chris Kelly both birdied the 17th and 18th as they tied for victory with matching four-under-par 67s on a wet day for the Aberdeen Petroleum Club pro-am at Peterculter Golf Club.
Doak, the Northern Open champion, had earlier birdied the second, fifth, sixth, eighth and 11th but dropped shots at the first, 13th and 16th in halves of 33 (three-under-par) and 34 (one-under-par).

Cawder club pro Kelly had an eagle 2 after driving the green at the 298 yard second hole. He followed that with a birdie at the fifth, the 10th and then his two late birdies. He dropped shots at the seventh and 12th in halves of 34 and 33.
