GRAHAM ROBERTSON, the winner in 2004 and 2006, will take on Paul Drake, the runner-up 12 months ago, in tonight's final of the Turnhouse Open.
In last night's semi-finals in the M&M Road Surfacing-sponsored event, Robertson proved Lindsay Gordon's nemesis once again while Drake continued to impress as he beat Paul Ross.

In a repeat of the 2006 final, Silverknowes star Robertson chipped i
n at the first against Gordon, the 14-times Turnhouse club champion but, amazingly, without a title success in this event.

Robertson went two up with a conceded three at the seventh before getting up and down from a "horrible spot" for a half at the ninth. He went three up at the tenth and, although Gordon birdied the 16th to keep the match alive, it was all over when Robertson hit a majestic approach to ten feet at the par-3 17th.

Drake, who lost to Craig Elliot in last year's final, stayed on course to go one better with a 4 and 2 win over Ross. While unable to keep up the fireworks from earlier in the week, the Pumpherston man closed out the match in style against his Silverknowes opponent with birdies at the 13th, 14th and 16th.

In the handicap event, Graeme Wallace beat Andrew Logan 3 and 2 and now meets Stevie Adamson, who beat Dougie McConnachie by one hole.
