Reformed Gretna claim first trophy GRETNA 2008, the side established last year in the wake of Gretna's sad demise from Scottish football last year, have won their first trophy.

Brooks Mileson: Entrepreneur and football chairman Born: 13 November, 1947, in Sunderland. Died: 3 November, 2008, in Carlisle, aged 60.

Mileson lived the dream of every football fan HE WILL want to be remembered as the man who lived the dream, but, as ever, it is more complicated than that. Brooks Mileson's death yesterday provides a sad, if unsurprising, postscript to the Gretna story.
