HEARTS today unveiled their brand new home kit from Umbro ahead of its launch on Friday, July 25.
For the first time in the club's history, the Jambos' first-choice kit will be all-maroon.

The design will remind Hearts supporters of the kit worn on one-off occasions such as the 2006 Scottish Cup final win.

The shirt has the club's year of formation, 1874, embroidered on the inside of the collar and the words, 'Hearts, Hearts Glorious Hearts' on the inside.

The full article contains 88 words and appears in Edinburgh Evening News newspaper.

And they don't even have a picture to go with the four sentences they have produced above.

This place is going downhill quicker than a leith street worker.

#4 er they do.

Strip is a bit dull.

Lets all not buy it and wear last years for all the luck that brought us!

AlanM,

Here 03/07/2008 12:23:44
I must rush out a buy a new strip to show my support for the mighty JTs as I am looking forward to the new season ssoooooooooo much!!

Wait for the "We have sold 60 million home strips this week and the fans are backing the club etc etc.."
The words "head" "button" and "back" spring to mind.

I wonder what the Hearts manager thinks of his team's new strip?

Oh, right.

Did mad vlad launch the new strip in Lisbon at the fashion show where hes more concerned now with his fashion label than a once pround edinburgh club?

The best strip we've had in years imo.

Hate to say it but I think it's better than any you lot have had in a while.

Only hoping the wigs on the 2 models aren't part of the strip...lol

I like this kit, and ive always thought we should be all maroon hope it stays like that for good. Glad to see the badges on home and away are on the left breast.

Pride Eh The Capital,

10# Hopefully Elliot and his steaming yellow boots go too.

Things will look up when and if the right mans brought in and left to do HIS job.
13

Hibernianinc,

03/07/2008 12:47:09
I'm confused.

You'd have thought they'd have wanted to make it less maroon, what with it being a girl's colour and that.
14

Stotty,

03/07/2008 12:48:43
The shorts should be white. I like the top though.

At the end of the day though, who cares what the strip looks like with all the other nonsense going on just now!

DONT BUY EITHER THE NEW HOME OR AWAY STRIPS UNTIL HE APPOINTS A MANAGER WITH FULL CONTROL OF TEAM AFFAIRS

Top is great but I wouldnt touch Hearts with a bargepole at the minute let alone buy a kit. Sooner see us in the Third Division without Romanov than this shambles.
22

Chas Niceass,

03/07/2008 13:07:49
I like the comment on the website. "It will remind us all of the Scottish Cup triumph in 2006".
At this rate it will be another 107 years before we win it again.
Imagine enduring that?
23

Rolland,

03/07/2008 13:08:12
#22 - Why? What good would being in the 1st div do us ?

Yes Romanov has faults and his ways seem very strange but the 3rd div ?
24

A Jambo come rain or shine,

03/07/2008 13:10:24

#12 The badge on the away strip is in the middle not on the left!

I like the new strip a lot, it's good to see they've resisted the temptation to put massive white bits all over the place.

The talk o the toon are the boys in maroon.
28

Langenburger,

03/07/2008 13:20:17
Good posts numbers 17 20 and 22
Jambos please do not buy this strip and stop spending
That way we will destroy his business plans
That is all we can do.
Number 24 I 'd prefer to be in the third division if we get rid of our owner - we'd come back but he wouldn't be part of our future anymore

33 - Yep, I just remembered that alonside "flair fitba" Hibs were the first team to wear same colour strips.

Come to think of itm were Hearts not wearing same colour strips at points last season, and the season before. In fact when we beat you in the semi I beleive we were wearing same colour strips that day too. ;)

Sounds like very mixed feelings about the new strip. Will it sell?
Of course it will sell! This is Romanov World that we are living in. Next week the club will proudly announce that the new strip is selling faster than Nade can eat hot pies.

Wonder if there's a matching shoulder bag.

#35 Everything will be fine? Romanov has stated that he wants a British based manager who has full control of the team etc and we are in the process of signing players and renegotiating contracts with no manager or hardly any backroom staff! If you think a new manager is the answer to the problems then your are deluded.
47

#20 sh!t, I'm a hibby and won't be buying the new kit or going to the Hull game. Does that mean in a strange way I'm showing my displeasure with Vlad? If so, and since I want Vlad to stay, does that mean I have to buy the kit and go to the Hull game? Anyone got a ticket, or is this also a sellout?
48

#58 Biley - Not sunning yourself on your yacht? How's the business empire coming along? Or what about the "burdz"?

Judging from your "Bebo", you're doing well for a Lady Boy, eh Mu Cha-Cha?

But seroiusly, I'd still like to hear your answer to Roscoe's message the other day. Just in case you've "overlooked" it, this is what Roscoe asked you...

"I'm all for free speech but rights also come with responsibilities, and one of the responsibilities should be to act like a decent human being rather than just berate everybody and suggest e.g that people report your posts because they don't agree with your point, when often your point is lost amongst the ramblings and insults.

Also, the rules of the forum clearly state that you're not allowed to indulge in certain behaviour, and that includes spending months slagging people off. If you break the rules, no matter whether your point is valid, your post will be removed eventually.

Had you thought that if you laid off the insults, 'crazy' nicknames and rambling, maybe your posts wouldn't get removed so often?"

Go on, Biley, we're waiting for your response...

#62 Another non-reply, Biley. How typical.

What exactly do you expect me to do to "prove" I want to know your response to Roscoe's comments?

The basis of any forum like this is to exchange views and information. You merely trade in insults, of course.

You're just a fake. You've no integrity and no credibility.

But "you" are not alone, are you? There are different styles and range of vocabulary among your many identities, are there not?

Does this explain your statement "Now tell me that OUR tactics aren't winning"?

Do you and your Bebo-pals gather round a PC and take turns to post to these forums? As well as taking turns at other, er, "activities" of course?

Or are you just schizophrenic?
