HIBERNIAN manager Mixu Paatelainen hopes his side can make the Celtic supporters restless in tomorrow's Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash by frustrating their hosts.
Paatelainen knows any anxiety among the green-and-white hordes can transfer to the pitch and, if it does, he hopes his charges will be able to take full advantage.

After dragging themselves back into the SPL title race, Celtic will be keen to mak
e a decent start at home to a Hibs side anxious for points to maintain their push for third place and Uefa Cup football.

However, Paatelainen is not naive enough to think keeping their opponents quiet during the early stages of the game will be an easy task.

He said: "Of course we can take advantage if the crowd get edgy if the game goes our way.

"I am sure they will come out strongly and try to score early goals to settle the game and they will then try and control the tempo.

"Celtic have been winning recently so the title race is wide open now.

"We took a point off Rangers last week so hopefully we can upset Celtic this week.

"We look after our interests and try to accumulate as many points as possible to try to get into the Uefa Cup."

Paatelainen has pinpointed Scott McDonald in attack and midfielder Barry Robson as the main threat to their chances of leaving Glasgow with something to show for their efforts.

McDonald has netted an impressive 24 league goals in his maiden season for champions, while Robson was named Clydesdale Bank Player of the Month for April after enjoying a rich vein of form.

He added: "We know we have to defend well though because they have powerful strikers and Scott McDonald is in very good goal scoring form at the minute.

"They always put quality crosses in so it will be a very tough game. In midfield, Barry Robson adds a lot to the midfield and he has done tremendously well.

"I think that's one of the reasons they are winning. The midfield area as well is one we need to be on guard."

Meanwhile, Paatelainen has confirmed midfielder Craig Rocastle will join the club for a trial on Monday.

The Englishman, who failed to land a contract at St Mirren earlier this week, spent six months on loan at Hibs from Chelsea in 2004 and is a free agent after being released by Port Vale.

Paatelainen said: "Craig will come next week and train with us and we will see how that goes. He did really well when he was here last time and it was a pity he left.

"He is coming to train with us for a couple of days and we will see how that goes."

Hibernian manager Mixu Paatelainen welcomes back Colin Nish, Guillaume Beuzelin and Thierry Gathuessi from suspension for tomorrow's match.

Right-back Kevin McCann is struggling to be fit after aggravating a knee injury in last week's draw with Rangers.

Midfielder Merouane Zemmama is definitely out and remains sidelined with a broken foot.

So, Gatheussi back in at right full back! Just the boost that Hibs need. Should have McGeady in his pocket for most of the match! Before all the Celtic legions start, it was a joke!!

If Motherwell beat Aberdeen on Saturday, then Hibs must take a least a point on Sunday to keep the race for 3rd spot going. Of course, 2 wins for Dundee Utd would also take them up there.

Rocastle was a good player when he spent 6 months with us in 04 but since then he has very much gone off the boil. If St Midden didn't offer him a contract why on earth does Mixu think he's good enough for the Hibees?

We really need to get a result against the mankies tomorrow, lets just hope the toley goalie ships us another goal or two like he did at the start of the season...

I'd suggest that Gatheussi should never come into contact with a Hibs jersey again after his recent antics. If Hoggy's fit, shift Canning into right back (assuming McCann doesn't make it). I'd also have young Hanlon at left back - Murray just doesn't have the pace to get forward. He's far better served to Hibs in a holding midfield role.

And finally, no Boozy please. I'd rather see young Lewis getting his chance ahead of a player who clearly has no desire to re-sign despite having barely contributed to Hibs since his first season.

I would like to thank all hearts supporters for thier long and continues support over this difficult period.

I would like to reward you all for you patience and more importantly your Money with this little snippit that i am about to leak .......i mean discuss witht the board:

hearts objectives for 2008-2009 season

1) we are about to build a state of the art soccer arena on the moon, all those who buy a new season ticket for the decrepit Tynecastle will not only recieve thier obligatory free scarve, but also half price moon shuttle transport for season 2009-2010.

2) We are currently in discussions with a new manager and am happy to confirm that God himself is interested in taking over with his son jesus who is iapparently a "miracle worker" on the training ground.

3) We are bringing in Bono and Bob Geldof as our financial advisors, once they have solved the issues surrounding 3rd world poverty they will be qualified enough to get to grips with our accounts.

4) There are Several big name players looking at comming to hearts far bigger even than, davidas cesnuaskas and andrius kasnavicius.

5) We have enlisted a top teamto complete the construction of our new £51m state of the art stand in the interim prior to our moon arena and am delighted that, Bob, wendy, scoop, rolly, muck and the crew will start worki on the pre season.

These very aggressive moves can only be funded with YOUR help, now come on get your cash out and buy a season ticket or forget all of the above and we are moving to murrayfield.

May i also congratulate hibs on getting craig roecastle back to the holy ground, i heard dublin hibs on here raving about him last week (i was a regular reader of this forum before dublin hibs was needlessly suspended time after time)

The Gatthuesi bashers are basing their judgement on two games: The first a blatant dive by De Vries; the second, well known anti Hibs referee Dougal's decision.
What about the good displays he gave prior to this? He was a factor in our recovery and deserves another chance. I prefer him to McCann everytime.

But they were both really important games where we needed points and had taken the lead, he also got sent-off for dissent.

I agree that he has shown improvement under Mixu but all season has been prone to moments of madness eg twice he's given players a two handed shove to the ground and got away with it. He does do good things but too often follows them up with bizarre decisions. I remember against St Mirren he went on a great run beating 3 players before turning right around and going backwards before playing a horrendous short pass back to Ian Murray.

There were clearly lot of 'Gatheussi bashers' before the last 2 games.

I thought McCann was reasonable against Rangers last week myself and would prefer him to Gatheussi. I think we've looked most solid with Canning at right back even though is it clearly not his natural position.
