HIBS today revealed ticket prices for their CIS Insurance Cup clash with First Division Morton have been slashed, with the clubs agreeing to charge £15 admission for adults and just £5 for concessions.
The second-round tie will take place at Easter Road on Tuesday, August 26, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The dates for ticket sales, including those for season-book holders – who will be allowed a period to secure their own seat for the tie against the Greenock side – will be announced later.

It should be £15 to get into ER for an SPL game let alone a league cup game. The price of tickets in Scottish football is trully astonishing when you consider the quality of the product. If they keep putting ticket prices up at ER at the rate they have been then by 2011 us mugs will be paying £25 for a category B game and £30 for a category A game. Quite laughable!

Right lets get this right, last years CIS prices were £15 & £5, where is the "slashed" prices? To me these are "the same" prices, or do Hibs expect me to pay £22 to watch a catC match, Mon Hibs fingers oot, slashed prices should be free for bairns and £5 for adults, full ER instead of the 10K we'll get for this game.

Same old story Hibs

Should football fans be prevented from going to away games?
No it’s only a small minority who are violent and you’ll never stop it.
Yes, the hooliganism must be stamped out.
Maybe but really the police need more resources to tackle the thugs
