Luke Carr, 27, a personal trainer from Broxburn reveals his top five places for a run
Arthur's Seat From the views to the physical challenge, nothing beats a run here.

Union Canal There's a great vibe along here. I take clients along the pathway on a regular basis. It's flat so it's a great run for beginners, and there's always something new to look at.

Cramond If it's not too windy or cold then I'll often grab the iPod and drive to the beach where I'll enjoy a run along the promenade. You can't beat a sea view.

Portobello promenade A close second to Cramond, but the ice-cream shops are a bit distracting.

Pentland Hills This one is not for the faint-hearted and is a real challenge, but the views at the top are worth it.
