GENEROUS JEM has been an admirable servant for the George Margarson yard and she can strike at Catterick in the Book Tickets On-Line At catterickbridge.co.uk Handicap (3.30pm), writes NICK GRANT.
Winner of three of her 14 starts, the five-year-old has been keeping decent company since just failing to land a four-timer at Thirsk last September. She was not beaten that far in a similar event at Newmarket last month and is 2lb lower this time, w
ith Neil Brown taking off a further 3lb. A reproduction of her best efforts would make her hard to beat at the North Yorkshire venue, with a suspicion her stable is just creeping into a bit of form after a lean spell. Current odds of around 10-1 look generous indeed.

Feeling Fab should prove aptly-named for her supporters in the Go Racing At Pontefract Tomorrow Maiden Stakes.

From the in-form Mark Johnston yard, this daughter of Refuse To Bend was narrowly beaten on her debut at Thirsk when running as if she would be much better for the experience. Her trainer's string generally improve for a run and it was a fair effort anyway as her half-length conqueror Vitoria had shown ability on her previous run and holds a Group One engagement.

The pair were nicely clear of the third and this represents an ideal stepping stone to better things.

Soul Sista sets a fair standard in the Jenkinsons Caterers Nursery at Chepstow. Trained by John Jenkins, the filly won a novice event with real authority when last seen at Salisbury to make it two wins from five outings. As long as the ground is not riding too fast, she should be in the winner's enclosure once more.

It will be a surprise if Prince Afram does not get off the mark in the Jenkinsons Caterers Maiden Stakes for the Oaks-winning Ralph Beckett.

With just the two outings so far in his career, he returned with plenty of dash at Leicester to finish three lengths second to Internationaldebut, coming home nicely clear of the third, who has just been touched off since.
