JEREMY Noseda's Perfect Polly made the long trek north from Newmarket worthwhile at Hamilton last night, winning the feature race of the card – the £14,000 Site Services Plant Ltd Condition Stakes.
In doing so, the filly – who was fourth in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket last season – denied Linda Perratt a decent prize, as her runner Burnwynd Doy went down fighting by a head in the six-furlong contest. Perfect Polly was weak in the betting, and was displaced as market leader by Van Bossed, but Dandy Nicholls' runner faded inside the furlong pole as Noseda's filly and her 40-1 rival fought out the finish.

The Scottish runner, trained last year by Ian Semple who is now No 2 to Perratt, pestered the leader to the line but could not quite spring a shock.
