Cannavaro fit to return for Italy

CAPTAIN Fabio Cannavaro is fit enough to mark his return to international action in Italy's opening World Cup qualifier in Cyprus tomorrow.
The Real Madrid defender has not played a competitive game since damaging ankle ligaments in training before Euro 2008, a tournament where his leadership was sorely missed.
