Another Highland League team, Inverurie, produced a heroic fightback to beat Third Division Stranraer at Harlaw Park. Locos' Richie Singer cancelled out Michael Moore's early opener before Neil Gauld notched a dramatic 65th-minute winner.

Deveronvale's dramatic revival salvaged a replay. Graeme Stewart and Craig McMillan gave Buckie an early lead but a double from Mark Smith, the equaliser eight minutes from time, rescued Vale, who had Robbie Brown and Gary McGowan sent off.

Highland League Nairn County lost out Third Division Elgin City in a thrilling Moray derby. A Craig Frizzel hat-trick had given Elgin a seemingly impregnable lead, but two Nairn goals in six minutes from Willie Barron and Campbell put County back in the tie. Elgin sub Jason Crooks then converted a 71st-minute penalty.
