Reynolds hopes Mac stays
MARK REYNOLDS has urged Ross McCormack to follow his lead and stay at Motherwell for another season – but insists there will be no hard feelings if the striker does quit Fir Park this summer.
McCormack is keen on a move to England, with manager Mark McGhee all but resigned to losing him. Reynolds also has aspirations of playing at a higher level and was recently the subject of a failed bid by Rangers.
But the defender is in no hurry to quit Motherwell and would love the same to be true of McCormack.
"I can't speak on his behalf," said Reynolds. "He is looking at his options and Motherwell is still an option. Hopefully it's an attractive one. We will be playing in Europe and he is guaranteed first-team football here."
